Description
Time: 18 hoursHow: Photoshop , drawing. Picture of me as reference for the character.
Why:
I am going to start a new cartoon series with the help of flash and after Effects, and maybe even 3Dsmax.
I can not reveal anything so far. But I will promise it will be action packed. But it is strictly going for a new look

i like the idea and how you planned the different parts of the composition, but i think this looks a bit chaotic because there's a big difference between soft and sharp parts all over the artwork. for example the brick wall is very sharp and detailed, whereas the wood right above it is very simple. this makes these different elements clash together and is hurting the impact of the whole piece considerably. a good idea would be to remember that if you have something very detailed in one place, with lots of textures, then you need to make sure that there's a gradual transition from that to a less detailed part. otherwise you end up with a piece where the detailed part grabs the attention immediately and the rest sort of fades away
in this piece in particular, i'd suggest that you draw the brick wall like you've done with the person and the buildings in the background, so the realistic looking texture doesn't distract the viewer
